Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989) Overview
PC action game released in 1989, similar to the NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title. Based on the animated series, players take control of the four mutants and take on the evil Shredder, who has kidnapped the Turtles' close friend, April O'Neil. The game features six side-scrolling levels, including backstreets and sewers, filled with Shredder's foot clan warriors and topped off by a boss. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was followed by a PC sequel known as The Manhattan Missions and, more than 10 years later, was resurrected as a 3D brawler alongside a new animated series.
