The Strategy game: Takeda Review with Cheats, Codes and Takeda walthroughs.
Takeda Overview
This real-time war game set in 16th century Japan focuses on realistic battle strategy with no resource management. The non-linear story is based on the actual history of warlord Takeda Shingen and his clan. The battles revolve around commanding divisions not individual soldiers. You control up to twelve divisions with as many as forty units in each. The units are affected by morale and fatigue. Tactics and the use of many army and division formations are key to winning the battles. Three different modes are available: historial battle mode, head-to-head mode and campaign mode. In campaign mode, there are over forty battles with the characters gaining experience and becoming more effective after each one. Diplomatic and strategic decisions must be made between battles and units are replaced based on the economic status of the clan.
