Robert E. Lee: Civil War General Overview

There is nothing terribly spectacular about Civil War Generals 2, it doesn't offer eye-popping graphics or any true innovations in gameplay. This is simply a solid, enjoyable, and challenging turn-based wargame set in the Civil War. CWG2 comes with a number of predetermined battles from which to choose. The game comes with two types of battles to choose from, 45 historical battles and more than 100 alternative ones. The alternative ones are usually smaller versions of the historical ones. Of great interest is the way the game handles campaigns. Not only does it string together varying numbers of individual scenarios but puts the emphasis on how well or poorly your army (you can play as either union or confederate) performs during battle.
